Another Gluten Giggle!
When it comes to taking your celiac kid to a party, nothing could be closer to the truth! As a celiac mom, this was totally me setting up a personal gluten free picnic for my son at a kid’s birthday party over the weekend, complete with Enjoy Life Soft Baked Cookies, G.H. Cretors cheesy popcorn and a Kirkland Organic Applesauce pouch. When planning for kid parties, my strategies are always to eat before we come and to get my kid engaged in the planned activity as soon as possible. If he’s busy playing, he’s likely too busy to worry about more food. When it comes time for cake and singing, I’ll often pull out a gluten free cookie and plan on saying our goodbyes just as the cake is being handed out.
Thanks for the giggle, Pinterest!
- It’s season in!! 💙💙 While many like to bake a nice blueberry pie with their pickings, I find that it’s much easier (and tastier) to make a. All the ingredients you need are 3 cups of, a stick of butter, about a half cup of sugar, baking powder, an egg, a teaspoon of vanilla, and 2/3 cup. I often find that it’s hard to work with flour (and the taste is not always as good unless you use an), so I have tried substituting the flour with @krusteaz. The results have been! Just bake at 375 degrees for 30-40 min
